Nahliyah has been keeping busy since school started with volleyball on Mondays and swimming Tuesdays and Thursdays. Despite her extracurricular activities she has continued to excel in school. This year she received “The Bobcat Cub Character Award” for grading period one. This award is given to one student per grade who displays outstanding character by exhibiting and modeling respect.
For Nahliyah’s fall break, she got to explore Northern Arizona. Her first stop was “Out of Africa Wildlife Park”. Nahliyah enjoyed her close up interactions with “Pilgram” the giraffe and petting a boa constrictor. Next up was the Grand Canyon where she got to see “Mather Point” for a beautiful view along the South Rim. After Mather Point she got to hike “Angel Bright Trail”.
Nahliyah is looking forward to Thanksgiving and spending time with her cousins. She says she is thankful for her Mother, her life, her teachers, Adonis (her dog) and TV.
