As a mother, I always want to ensure that the decisions and choices I make have a positive effect on my child’s life, both short term and long term. Thus far I can honestly say I am doing a great job. Seeing Nahliyah grow and mature makes me extremely proud. She is truly the definition of resiliency. Nahliyah is extremely outgoing and is quick to make a new friend. On a regular day you can catch Nahliyah playing with her dog, skating around the neighborhood, facetiming her cousins or singing karaoke, believe it or not she knows the lyrics to most songs on the Billboards hot 100 list. I am truly excited to continue to watch Nahliyah blossom because she is truly an inspiration to us all.
